On June 22nd, we had the pleasure of sponsoring the CIBC Capital Markets Enterprise Solutions Golf Tournament, joined by our colleagues from EPAM and First Derivative, as well as clients, partners, and a few familiar FD alumni. Honestly, it was the perfect reminder of why we do what we do in the stunning setting at Granite Ridge!
Between the crushing drives, the suspiciously creative scorekeeping, and the non-stop laughs, this event quickly became one of our favourite highlights of the year. While we’re usually locked into deep-dive project roadmaps and resource strategies, swapping the boardroom for the fairway was exactly what the doctor ordered. It was fantastic to see everyone trade their intense workplace focus for a laid-back, yet fiercely competitive mindset out on the course.
Whether you were tracking a perfect birdie or hunting for a lost ball in the rough, the energy was high and the competitive spirit was alive and well. The best ball format and shotgun start kept things moving, and the camaraderie on every hole was a testament to the strong relationships we’ve built across the industry.
A massive thank you to everyone from CIBC and all the partners who joined us and made the day happen. Building platforms and delivering talent is one thing, but building genuine relationships is what it’s all about. It was amazing to catch up, meet some FD alumni, share a few drinks and connect on a personal level. The participants all made the day incredibly special, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
