First Derivative has today announced the appointment of Karen O’Beacháin as Murex Practice Lead, within its Technology Services practice. In the role, Karen will lead an international team responsible for building out sustainable delivery capabilities to help clients navigate their Murex programmes confidently, whilst simultaneously increasing First Derivative’s presence as a leading Murex delivery partner.

Karen is an advocate for the role First Derivative can play in helping clients navigate complex business and technology challenges.

Karen brings a wealth of experience to the role having spent the last twenty years in Capital Markets, primarily at leading investment banks including JPMorgan, Barclays and most recently, Bank of Ireland in a range of leadership roles within Risk, Operations and Markets. With a specific focus on business transformation, Karen has led teams through several complex and challenging programmes of change.
