    Looking to start a new career as a FinTech Analyst? DFE are delighted to launch its new Assured Skills Academy

    This is a unique opportunity for applicants to gain specialist experience working with market leading clients, technology systems and applications across the Financial Services sector. They will receive a highly sought after transferable skill set, gaining invaluable experience to help drive their careers.

    The FinTech Foundation Academy with First Derivative is fully funded by the Department for the Economy and delivered in partnership with Southern Regional College.

    Would you like to:

    • Work with a team of technology experts to design, develop, implement and support a broad range of mission-critical data and trading systems for the benefit of clients?
    • Have the opportunity to progress through the company by working with major financial institutions and the world’s top trading technology vendors such as Calypso and Murex?
    • Gain training and skills in areas such as Introduction to Capital Markets, Introduction to Stakeholder Management, Risk Fundamentals. Excel, Project Management, Intro to Cloud, Intro to Cyber and Python programming.
    • Receive an allowance of £175 per week while you complete your training?

    If so, then join our Academy:

    The selection process will entail an online application followed by interviews which will be held on 17th and 18th September 2024.

    Experience is not required but you must:

    • be at least 18 or over
    • be eligible to work in the UK
    • have 64 UCAS points and have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above at the point of application. Proof of qualifications will be required in order to progress, if selected for interview.

    Training for successful applicants will be onsite at Southern Regional College’s Newry Campus and will prepare you for a role as an Analyst under the Assured Skills Programme.

    Training will commence on 21st October 2024 and finish on 13th December 2024. Applicants must be available for the duration of the training period.

    Participants who successfully complete the Academy will be guaranteed an interview with First Derivative for an Analyst position.

    In the event that a large number of applications are received First Derivative reserve the right to enhance the minimum criteria, if necessary, in order to generate a manageable shortlist for interviews.
