Aligned to monthly steering reporting, analyst will reconcile monthly spend to establish a present and accurate financial position.
Document, Process and Track all project expenditure
Manage and track all project expenditure in a timely and organised manner.
Analyse and Report KPIs & Trend Analysis
From Monthly Financial Snapshot, analyse figures against budgets/ funding to create and share useful financial insights.
Support G&R PMO where applicable
Be proactive in supporting wider PMO team with relevant financial information (reporting, funding applications, closing reports etc…).
Support Forecasting and Financial Modelling
Support project managers with forecast modelling and implications against financial KPIs.
Respond to adhoc financial requests
Support any adhoc requests that arise from the project.

Provides visibility across all projects, programmes and portfolios that fall under PMO remit and provides guidance on plan creation.
Task Breakdown
Assist project managers with task breakdowns to ensure roles & responsibilities are understood.
Task Tracking
Provide and manage project tracking and assess progress against plans.
Prioritisation and Strategy Management
Understands the Organisation’s strategy and provides guidance on prioritising projects or deliverables based on the strategy.
Future Planning
Assists Organisation with future planning by ensuring projects and programmes align with portfolio objectives.
Risk Management Framework
Defines and monitors risk management framework for all projects, programmes and portfolios.
RAID Log Management and Reviews
Creation RAID Logs with project manager. Chairs RAID Log review meetings and tracks actions as needed.
Issue Reporting
Ensures issues are correctly logged per Organisation’s procedures and escalated to Steer or ExecCo.
Organisation or Strategic Risks
Central tracking and reporting for Organisation-wide risks including Commercial, Reputational, Environmental, Cultural etc.
Project Audits
Audits projects, programmes and portfolios to ensure all risk management procedures and record management processes policies are followed.
RAID Training
Provides training and guidelines to PMs and new joiners on RAID processes
Documentation Reviews
Quality control for documentation to ensure the content meets stakeholder expectations, methodologies are in line and correct templates are used.
Quality Assurance Review
Formal reviews with projects, programmes and portfolios to check for quality issues that may impact project deliverables.
Gate or Stage Reviews
Regular guidance with project teams on the attributes required to pass a Stage. Hosts the sign off meetings
Knowledge & Template Library
Creates template library in line with Organisation’s methodology including all project related documentation and training.
Governance Support
Provides support directly to project team members on templates, processes and methodologies.
