    Background:

    • First Derivative’s client is one of the Big Five American technology companies, specifically their Logistics business.​
    • With over 1.6 billion packages delivered per day and a network of over 275,000 drivers, it is critical that our client performs an effective and efficient onboarding process.​

    What we did:

    • First Derivative partnered with Moody’s Analytics and Blackdot Solutions to create a customer onboarding managed service.
    • The team conduct the onboarding workflow on Passfort and perform OSINT investigations on Videris to enable our client to make informed decisions on whether to onboard or reject the customer.​
    • We then deployed specialised consultants to automate the repeatable components of the process and introduced AI to generate a scoring methodology that enables the Analysts to focus on making the risk-based decision rather than the manual tasks.​
