    Murex Analyst

    First Derivatives (FD) is a leading provider of products and consulting services to the capital markets industry with 3000+ staff globally and ambitious expansion plans. Focused on financial institutions that work cross-asset, often with multi-system and/or high volume trading activities, the Company scopes, designs, develops, implements and supports a broad range of mission for Murex across front, middle and back-office operations.

    First Derivative is currently looking to recruit a Murex analyst to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will become a key member of the team in region supporting core local business areas. You will be working in a team of Murex Experts and work closely with the client to understand and cater to their requirements.

    As such the successful candidates will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

    • At least 2 years Murex experience
    • At least 2 years working in a Business Analyst role or similar
    • Good understanding of Financial Markets with strong domain knowledge with understanding of several asset classes
    • Solid knowledge of the UNIX/Linux environment
    • Product configuration (generators, indices, instrument)
    • Basic of Murex GOM setup and access rights
    • Static data set up Maturity sets, Market Data, pre-trade workflows
    • Attitude to solve for the customer
    • Basic Operation support like E-trade pad, P&L notepad and trade events
    • Able to support troubleshooting MO function Murex market data load process (Real-time, Fixing import, EOD Feeds)
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
