    Change and Transformation Consultant

    We are excited to announce a new business unit within our Business Services division focused on Change and Transformation (C&T). C&T serves key players in the capital markets ecosystem, including buy-side and sell-side firms, market data providers, exchanges, central counter parties, custodians, and central banks.

    We are seeking experienced Change Management Consultants to join our C&T Practice across global locations, London, Newry, Toronto, Belfast, Dublin, and New York. As a C&T consultant, you will help our clients plan, implement, and monitor changes to their business processes, systems, and structures. You will also identify and pursue opportunities for business transformation, and design and implement plans to achieve desired outcomes.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Project Management & Delivery

    • Working with clients to understand their business models, assess the impact of disruptive technologies, and create new products and services
    • Leading, managing, or supporting projects for clients in the capital markets sector using Agile or Waterfall delivery methodologies
    • Assisting clients in the full software delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment

    Business Analysis & Transformation

    • Conducting in-depth analysis of clients’ business operations and identifying opportunities for improvement using data analytics
    • Developing and implementing recommendations for process optimization and business growth
    Client Relationships and Business Development
    • Communicating findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner using data visualization tools
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships
    • Utilizing your knowledge and experience to support the Change and Transformation Practice in developing new opportunities, developing our people and delivering existing projects for clients
    The successful candidate will have:
    • Expertise in Capital Markets core functions (e.g., Issuance, Trading, Settlement and Custody) and their related operational processes, with experience in strategy development, business operating model design, and application architecture
    • A deep knowledge of financial instruments across asset classes
    • Demonstrable understanding of delivery methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and the software development life cycle
    • Experience liaising with business stakeholders, defining requirements, and/or converting into technical specifications for information systems (e.g., user stories, BRDs, and FRDs)
    • Experience in implementing technology solutions including a high-level understanding of the principles of DevOps and Cloud Computing
    • The ability to think creatively and objectively, make decisions, learn and keep up to date with market trends
    • The ability to analyse and present data, with a technical proficiency in using programming languages to aid analysis, such as SQL, Python or R being beneficial
    • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate detail and look at the bigger picture
    • Systems thinking, including the ability to build an understanding of complex system design
    • Experience working with Artificial Intelligence and or Machine Learning would be beneficial
    • Exposure to Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), and an understanding of digital assets would be beneficial
    • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate across levels of seniority
